Local Engagement Events

The Village Safer Neighbourhood Team have been out and about in the local area attending advertised events this week!

Officers attended the Street Briefing on Saturday 7th March on the junction of Cambridge Rd and Oakwood Rd to speak to residents regarding any ongoing concerns they may have within the ward. This was a great opportunity to speak to residents face to face instead of through Met Engage or emails. We had two resident attend this engagement and we would like to increase this number at the upcoming events. 

The team also attended the Village farmers market today to carry out bike marking and local engagement. The team were approached by a number market attendees who stated that it was nice to see officers in the Village. The Village team conduct foot patrols throughout the ward daily but events like these give the team the opportunity to be visible in a busy area at designated times.
